Micah House • Book Signing & Talk
Join us as we welcome Micah House back to Ernest & Hadley Booksellers on Saturday, March 25 from 12:30-2:00 PM to introduce the third book in the Blanchard Witches series: Stitches in Time. This event will be held in our courtyard, weather permitting, and refreshments will be served!
Things are not always easy for the Blanchard family of Daihmler, Alabama. Over the last few years they've experienced more than their share of tribulations, even for a family of witches. Through the many ups and downs they have always had each other, but that was threatened at the end of Book Two as one of their own suddenly disappeared from a family cookout. Picking up where PRODIGAL DAUGHTERS left off, the Blanchards are about to discover Beryl is not the only family member about to vanish before their eyes.
In this third installment of The Blanchard Witches series, the family must search the past to find their loved ones. They will encounter relatives they have only heard about through family lore while facing challenges in unfamiliar worlds which might change their family timeline forever. Join your favorite family of witches for their next adventure as they face one of the greatest foes they've come up against...time.
Micah House was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. At a very young age he lost his father which instilled in him a deep sense of sentimentality regarding family. As a way to process a world out of his control, young Micah began to write. He wrote many tales, but at the age of 24 his first novel The Blanchard Witches came to life. Then, as it does for everyone, life got in the way. He moved to Birmingham, Alabama where marriage, building a business, and fatherhood tabled The Blanchard’s for two decades. Micah continued to write, but as a columnist for two Birmingham magazines. His dream of being a published author never faded, so at the age of 46 he sold his business and decided it was time to give The Blanchard’s life. With the encouragement of his husband and son, he retooled and updated the story to expand it into an ongoing series. Now the Blanchard Witches of Daihmler County and their continuing stories are a dream realized. Micah believes its never too late to give your dream a chance. Maybe it will work out, maybe it won’t, but you’ll never know unless you try.
